Being an Asthmatic all my life, I know how important it is to feel secure wherever you go. With a device like this portable nebulizer, you can gain that confidence to venture out where you normally wouldn't have access to a larger electric nebulizer.
Advancements in the industry have provided people who suffer from Asthma, Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD), and even Cystic Fibrosis a way to administer relief while we are away from the home.
The Portable Nebulizer is a great way to relieve congestion regardless of whether you are at home, camping, at the park, or sleeping over at a friend's house. You can rest assured knowing you have your portable nebulizer on hand.
What makes this nebulizer such a good choice for travel is that it can be operated using two power sources. Both of these power sources are global, meaning you can operate the device from anywhere in the world.
Powering the Nebulizer with 2 x AA batteries is a great option for when you are mobile, whether it's down at the beach, park, or at the department store.
USB Or Battery Operated
When you are visiting relatives or friends for the holidays, you can power the it via the included USB cable. Provided you have access to a USB port, you can have global power on hand to your portable nebulizer.
As a life long Asthmatic myself, I can tell you that the amount of reassurance it brings knowing that you have instant access to a device like this is well worth the investment.
*Note: Never use USB power at the same time as battery power as this can damage the unit.
The simplicity of this design takes me back to my very first bulky, noisy, and heavy electric nebulizer. However, the it is lightweight, portable, and very quiet to operate.
While we are on the topic of noise, the low 25dB output of the unit means you can discretely use this machine without causing attention to yourself. I know that I use to feel embarrassed using my very noisy and clunky nebulizer around other people when I was younger.
With this nebulizer, you don't need to worry about waking the whole house up in the middle of the night when you need to attend to your condition.
The simple to use design of this portable ventilator means that anyone can operate this device. However, before using for the first time, I recommend putting the nebulizer on the clean mode with some water just to ensure there is no dust and particles sitting in the chamber and tube.
To do this, you just hold the ON/OFF button down for a few seconds and the device will automatically enter the cleaning mode for a minute or two.
Once the chamber is dry you can add in the liquid, up to 8ml. To do this you just open the lid located on the top of the chamber. Once the liquid is inside the chamber, close the lid.
Connect either the atomizer apparatus or mouthpiece and press the ON button. Let the nebulizer do its thing for a few seconds and then you start breathing in the mist.
Many of us Asthmatics need relief before going to bed and using a cordless nebulizer is a great way to get this relief. However, you can often fall asleep and accidentally leave the nebulizer running.
It also has a built-in auto shut off feature. This feature will automatically turn off the nebulizer after 10 minutes of continuous use. This will save the compressor from burning out while also ensuring you get maximum life from your batteries.
Can Young People Use This Portable Nebulizer?
Yes, for younger people, the included children's apparatus is the best option. Small kids find it hard to wrap their mouth over the mouthpiece for an extended time and find the breathing attachment easier to manage.
Is It Suitable For Adults?
Yes, the it comes with an adult breathing attachment or mouthpiece which is much easier to use for adults.
Can Small Particles Get Inhaled?
The mesh filter blocks the smallest particles from entering the misting nozzle.
Can It Be Used With Distilled Water?
No, the portable nebulizer is not intended to be used with distilled water, please use tap water and don't use it with essential oils.
Can You Clean The Mesh Filter?
Yes, the mesh filter can be cleaned, so you don't need to buy replacements. If you notice the mist isn't as misty as it once was, that's a sign you need to clean the filter. To do this you just soak the filter in 1 part vinegar to 3 parts water for 3 minutes. Then rinse off the filter. Be sure to run it on its cleaning cycle also.
