I use this without one of the arms for extra room. The other arm is to steady myself as I step in and out of the shower. Highly adjustable for short or tall people. A bit difficult to snap together with arthritic hands, but is a well-built, sturdy and reliable seat for the shower.

Was for a tallish 80ish year old woman needing a seat to enter, leave, and shower, in a shower stall. Has returned control to her to handle her own shower, relieving her husband of all the control of helping her to enter and leave the shower stall. Both parties are delighted with the results of having the sturdy arms to stabilize her.

My husband is 6'3" and 230 pounds and this chair fits him well. The adjustable legs stretch out long enough that he doesn't feel like he's sitting in a child's chair. It is sturdy, yet light enough that it is no problem for either of us to lift in and out of the bathtub. Assembly is simple and straightforward.

I have very bad hip arthritis and am going to have a joint replacement soon. It's been getting harder and harder to stand in the shower. This shower chair is so great as it suits my 6'4" height well unlike previous chairs. It was easy to put together (follow the directions) and it fits great in my little stall shower. My life is so much better now that I can take a shower and not be in extreme pain! Thank you!

This chair is durable and good quality. Easy 5 minute put together with no tools. Adjustable height and has a wide seat. I gave it 4 stars except for suction feet. The rubber cups are extra round and wide. I don't think there is a problem with suction but my tub is 1/2 inch less width then the chair so the rubber feet hit the round part of tub making suction not as good. In the shower it does suction to floor but I have an engraved pattern on floor which might be causing lack of suction. Otherwise I give suction a 5 star.

This chair is for my mother but she is unfortunately quarantined due to current world events.... so I cannot review all of the features yet. But it seems like an excellent product. It was VERY easy to put together. The side arms are a big plus and nicely padded. The height can be adjusted easily. I believe I made a good choice in purchasing this product.

I liked everything about this chair!! The legs adjust to several height levels!! I wondered, “Why was I ever taking a shower without it.” Very comfy to sit on. Even though the surface of the chair is made for less slippage, I always use a hand towel to sit on for extra protection during my surgery recovery.

I got this for my father in law who was using a plastic chair in the shower. He is over 6' and the plastic chair he was using was far too low. This one suits him perfectly. It was easy to put together but notice there is one washer and it goes in the middle as does the longest of the shorter screws. My husband had put it together before he recognized what the directions meant. He made the comment that it was not worded correctly but he and my father in law figured it out. I did not take long to adjust. We were pleased with the chair and feel it is nice and will work well.

Love this chair, fits perfect in tub, very sturdy it is so nice to be able to wash my feet sitting down. I'm 73 but I don't care how old you are you will love this for foot washing shaving legs. Even makes washing your hair easier. Love it. So easy to assemble. You don't even need a screwdriver, it has all screws with wings on the top. Took less than 10 min. to put together.

This shower chair was just what we needed. It was quick and easy to assemble and it's very stable in our shower. I looked at several types of shower chairs and opted for this one because it offered a back and arms. My wife is experiencing difficulty with her arms and having arms on the chair make it much easier for her to get back up. The back is a great safety feature, so that she does not inadvertently fall backward while sitting. This may not be the least expensive option, but the price was reasonable and I am very happy with it.

My husband was leery about entering and exiting shower following his back injury and seizure. This has made his life so much easier. Arms do move a little, but it’s because of how it’s designed to be adjustable. I’ve inspected them and they are NOT going to detach or fall off even under much duress. Kinda sad we didn’t buy earlier, thought it was something for ‘old’ people. Wish we’d bought one YEARS ago!

I am 6ft 6inches and weigh 270lbs, I carry a lot of my weight in my stomach, hips, and thighs and I can sit comfortably in this shower seat. I would buy it again in a minute

Sturdy chair, well written directions. My biggest concern in buying this was that it was going to be too wide. Check out the pictures for measurements. Keep in mind that if you extend the legs for someone who's taller and needs a high start, it will get wider at the base because of the angle. At this size, with my standard plastic molded tub/shower, the feet weren't squarely on the bottom of the tub, but where it started angling up. However the feet are very flexible and they make full contact. It's very stable, I tried tipping backwards and there was no way one could accidently tip back

Bought this for my dad who broke his leg in a motorcycle accident. Looked sturdy from the pictures. Seeing it in person is a little bit of a letdown. Its minly the armrest that concerns me, but time will tell.

Great item! To my surprise, the legs fits almost perfectly, even though the tub is quite old. The suction is not rated as the bottom of the legs do not lay flat on the bottom the tub. But even though they lack a quarter inch of either side of the tub, the way the chair is so well made it fits very sturdy, no movement at all in the tub, so it's very safe to use. As for putting it together, that was another surprise. With my lack of mechanical skills, expected to need the services of a NASA engineer, but it was easy, very easy to assemble. This was a gift for a friend and I may just have to get one for myself!

This chair can be used either in a bathtub or shower for individuals who need stability to bathe. The sturdy arms on the chair provide assistance to stand up to get out of the bathtub or shower. Over-all it provides safe support for the user. My husband is about 5 feet 11 and I am 5 feet 1. It fits both of us well. The price is very reasonable. It can also be left in the shower or tub. No rust. I recommend this product.

The instruction say one screw is longer, and to use that one longer screw in step 5, but 5 asks for the one "shorter" screw. I wasted 30 minutes looking for the longer screw, they were all the same size and assemble was fine without it.

This shower seat served me well when I tore my ACL and MCL. I had the seat on the tallest setting (I'm 6'3"), and it allowed me to stay high enough up that sitting down and standing up with one leg was very easy. It provided enough stability that I could put my weight entirely on the handles (220lb) and it never felt like it was unstable, besides a small bit of wobble (to be expected, and it never moved enough to make me feel uneasy).
I can't attest to the long-term stability of this seat, as I only really used it for about 2 months. I can say, however, that the tubes it is made out of will let some moisture in. So if this is being used for a long period of time, it might be a good idea to take it apart and let the tubes dry out to prevent any mold or mildew.

Was a little small. I am full figure and this was not comfortable. I give it to someone who could use it.

Great Chair! At first my husband didn't want me to buy it, but now he's greatful that bought it. He has balance issues and he's used it several times to sit in it in the shower. We had a new shower installed with handicap Rails, but the chair helps, because he has a hard time standing up. I wish the chair was a little sturdier, but it's worth the money.

It is as sturdy as it looks...height is adjusted quickly, very sturdy at all levels. We have also used this
seat in rooms other than the bathroom. "It's a great' portable safety seat" anywhere you need one.
Hank R.
In putting it together, I had to leave one of the arms off of it otherwise it was impossible to sit on it from outside of the tub. There was simply no way to get to it with the arm in the way. It was very difficult to remove the arm after it had already been attached, also. The arm should be made to be extremely easy to detach and reattach, so that one can get on the chair, turn around to face forward, and then reattach the arm to have something to hold onto.
