The right zero gravity chair can quite literally be the most comfortable chair in the house. Nothing quite beats the feeling of weightlessness as you lay back and drift off to sleep.
That is, unless you are too big and tall for the standard size chair. The XL Zero Tall zero gravity chair is here to fix that.
With a weight capacity of 350 pounds and a fully reclined length of 69-inches, the XL Tall can provide ample space for the tall person to kick their feet up and switch off to the rest of the world.

XLzero 500 LB Capacity Extra Long Zero Gravity Chair
Banging your head on the top of a chair as you lay down is not my definition of comfort. This is a problem most tall people face when sliding back into a zero gravity chair.
With the XL Tall, you get a generous 31.5" tall backrest. This extra few inches of backrest offers the taller people the space they need to comfortably rest their heads on the support cushion and not the top bar of the chair.
When fully reclined, the XL Tall measures roughly 69-inches from the top bar down to the footrest. The seat depth is 20 inches deep while the footrest area is another 20 inches.
This total measurement is just short of 6 feet, however when you are in the zero gravity position with your knees raised, you body's height is not as tall as it is when standing up straight.
With a 69-inch reclined length, people taller than 6 foot up to about 6'2" will find the length sufficient. If you are shorter than 6 feet that is not a problem either as the headrest is adjustable and removable to cater to varying heights.
Tall people are generally heavier due to larger muscle mass. To accommodate this, the XL Tall uses extra thick 6/7" steel tubing. This reinforced tubing allows the big and tall people up to 350 pounds to safely recline without the fear of breaking the chair's frame.
If you are bigger than you are tall, you need to consider the oversized version of this chair which has a much wider 14" seat between the arms. You can find the Oversized XL by clicking here.
When people go to buy a zero gravity chair, often they miss one of the key indicators in terms of durability. This is the Denier rating and the lower the rating, the weaker the material will be.
With the XL Tall, you get the upgraded 600 Denier PVC mesh, which is some of the toughest material you can get for a chair like this. 600D materials are often used for high quality backpacks and tough luggage to give you some kind of indication as to the strength of this canvas. It is twice as durable and tough as a product rated to only 300D.
Buying a zero gravity chair for a tall person is not only about the length and durability of the chair, but also the bonus features that come with the chair. Here is a list of what to expect when you buy you're very own XL Tall Zero Gravity Chair.
